Is Ben Hare Sales Certified?Yes, we are members of CETA, Cleaning Equipment Trade Association.

Do I Need A Hot Water Pressure Washer?Hot-water pressure washers are excellent for cleaning up oil, grease, and diesel spills, and for disinfecting.
Applications such as service areas, garages, industrial plants, food processing, and airports are candidates for a hot-water washer.

Pounds Per Square Minute Or Gallons Per Second?Both are very important.
The p.s.i. (pounds per square inch) delivers the "punch" to a washing application, or in other words, forces the contaminant from the surface.
The g.p.m. (gallons per minute) will flush the contaminants.

High Pressure or Low Pressure?Low pressure detergent works better than high pressure detergent. When detergent is applied to a surface, it needs time to penetrate the spill.
When high pressure detergent is added to the system, much of the detergent is blown off during the application.
Low pressure detergent can be spread evenly and with less splash back.

Proper Cleaning Procedure (general)?Pre rinse the cleaning surface with fresh water.

Apply cleaning solution to surface at low pressure.

Limit your work area to sections of approximately 6 ft. and always apply detergent from bottom to top.

Allow wash to remain on surface 1-3 minutes. Do not allow detergent to dry on surface, if surface appears to be drying, simply wet down surface with fresh water.

Use special Wash Brush Attachment to remove stubborn dirt.

Rinse at high pressure in an even sweeping motion keeping the spray nozzle approximately 6 inches from the cleaning surface.
For best results, always rinse from top to bottom and from left to right.

Caution: Do not use rotating nozzle spray wand on siding as it may cause damage.

Do I Need More Volume or Pressure?Most often, more water and less pressure is best.
